Batter Fried Hot Devilled Prawns

250g Prawns
2 big Onion (Cut into small pieces)
4 large Capsicum
4 spring Onions (Cut into medium pieces)
2 Tomatos ()
2 teaspoon Ginger
2 teaspoon Garlic
3 teaspoonHot Chilli Paste
1 tbsp chilli powder
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp oil
Oil for frying
salt & pepper to taste


For Batter

3 tbsp all purpose flour
3 tbsp corn flour
1/2 cups milk
1 eggs
salt


Method for batter
In medium bowl beat all the ingredients together, The batter should be thick. Dip the Prawns in the batter and fry till golden brown for 2 – 3 mints.

Method
In a wok add oil and add onions, ginger & garlic and cook for few minutes. Reduce heat add chilli paste and sugar stir & add remaining ingredients and stir fry, add fried prawns salt & pepper to taste and mix well, serve hot.

Chocolate Cake

200g flour
50g Chocolate Powder (Motha gives a better colour)
250g sugar
250g margarine (or butter)
5 eggs
1/4 cup of milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of Aappa Soda (Optional - to get a better color)
1 teaspoon Vanila essence



Sift together flour, baking powder,Aappa Soda and chocolate Powder.

Cream butter and sugar well. Then add eggs one by one and beat well until sugar desolves. (Using a beater).

Add Vanila Essence and mix well.

Add flour gradually in small quantities and mix well. Add Milk.

Bake at 180 degree C in a pre-heated oven for 25 – 35 minutes.

Butter Cake

250g flour
250g sugar
250g margarine (or butter)
